By 2025, with 500 handlooms we aim to globally provide brands with the opportunity to transform 450.000 kg of waste per year into ethically manufactured textile products and facilitate a hopeful future for 1000+ workers in their value chain.

Khaloom is a social startup driving innovation the existing textile recycling industry in India by producing high quality upcycled fabrics on handlooms with recycled yarns. In producing this product, Khaloom provides formal employment to local underprivileged women. The company pays its weavers fair wages which are up to 3 times the average for the Indian handloom industry. Provides brands around the world with the opportunity to change waste into a resource, Khaloom is challenging norms in the textile industry and facilitating a hopeful future for workers in their production chain.
